Answers—-that was what they were here for. The Cullens had searched far and wide for a being of the same species of their youngest member. It was a difficult task to complete as hybrids were considered rare delicacies. However, the family was certain that Renesmee was not unique. There had to be more than just two. With admirable hope, selected members of the Olympic Coven flew across the country to a town called Mystic Falls.

The day posterior, Renesmee’s grandfather took it into his own responsibility to acquire the foreign hybrid. He questioned her to ensure that no harm would come to his granddaughter if they were ever to meet, and Renesmee did want to meet this so-called “Evangeline.” Now, Renesmee was standing before the woman with anxiety running through her veins.

❝ Hello—- ❞ her voice was nearly inaudible.

           ❝ If you insist—

             Renesmee glanced around and
             settled into Jacob’s usual seat.

                        —so, Alex, what’s your
                                        favorite color? ❞

rosalix:

         ❝ Of course, sweetheart. You
must be ready to go out in the
         snow, huh? ❞

         Rosalie smiled. She looked out
the window and watched as the
flakes continued to coat the forest
floor. That was the one thing she
loved about being north of the
         boarder. The snow. The cluster
of trees. Living off in seclusion.
Along with that, she had the
chance to go out and play in the
forest as a family. Her, Emmett,
         and their little girl.

That was on the fantasy side of
         Rosalie’s mind. The reality side
was that they could still do some
of the things she wanted but
Emmett had to be home. He was
         their protection. He would protect
         them from everything. She sighed
and ran her hands over her face,
then crossed her arms over the table.
         She watched as Renesmee cleaned
the bowl that once held her mac and
cheese and pushed it aside. She
laughed softly, picking up the bowl.

❝ How was it this time, Nes? And,
I think I just heard his truck pull up outside. ❞

Watching as her little girl tossed her leather
gloves off to the side and dashed into the kitchen.
She giggled softly watching the scene, then turned
her attention to the pair of gloves on the floor. She
reached down and the picked them up. She knew
Nessie hated them but they could take any risks,
no matter how far from Forks they were. She
walked into the kitchen and laughed, watching
her daughter playing with the bubbles
         from the soap.

❝ It was the best mac and cheese I’ve
                   ever had—ever! ❞ Renesmee said
                   exasperatedly, throwing her hands up
in the air to emphasize the delectable,
savory goodness of what was now
                   being digested in her stomach.
Bubbles flew from the sink onto the
island due to her silly wave. Some of
                   them even attached themselves to
Rosalie.  ❝ Oppsie.. Sorry, momma. ❞

A sheepish smile lifted the corner of
her lips as she feigned her innocence.
If she knew her mother like she thought
she did, then it wouldn’t take much
more than a simple pout matched with
a set of puppy dog eyes for her to avoid
                   being reprimanded.

                                       ❝ Daddy? ❞

                   Renesmee’s attention perked at the
sound of a person exiting a vehicle.
She quickly finished washing her hands
before running over to her mother and
tugging the hem of Rosalie’s shirt.

                               ❝ Momma, momma—
                             let’s go! Daddy’s home! ❞

The little hybrid was not allowed to
open the door. However, once a sliver
                   of light broke through, Renesmee
swung the door wide open. With her
inhumane speed, she ran straight into
                   her father’s arms.

❝ Daddy! Momma said we can go outside
when you came home, and now you’re
home! Do you think there’s enough snow
to build a snow castle? What about a
snowman? The snowman can be the king
                   and…❞

The hybrid’s eyes filled with tears,

Alistair sat on the roof of the Cullen’s home. The place had seemed vacant for the time being, but the presence of people that were here was still fresh. His legs hung over the edge, as he kept his hands resting on his lap. Snow was falling from the sky and getting caught on the branches of trees and clumped together on the ground below.

A few minutes later he sensed someone walking closer to the house. He quickly stood and jumped up to a tree branch that was higher up than the house. Waiting. That’s all he could do at this time. Or leave the property, but they would have known someone passed through.

Perfection ceased to exist due to a supernatural occurrence within the woods. In other words, the wolves were all called forth because a trace of a foreign vampiric scent was found amidst. Renesmee had to admit: it sucked having a wolf as a best friend sometimes. Before chaos erupted, the hybrid was having the time of her life rummaging through old photographs of her mother and her best friend. She couldn’t believe that he used to have hair as long as hers. Unfortunately, she wasn’t allowed to stay with him, but there was no one at the main house to keep her company either. They’ve all gone hunting, which left the child to resolute to solitude.

❝ Bye, Jakey, ❞ the hybrid grumbled as she made her way towards the main house. A howl echoed throughout the woods in response. Renesmee continued walking until utter silence was met, signifying the absence of her friendly wolf. Then, she averted her direction and started walking back into the forest.
