Flinching from where she had been carrying some of Emily’s muffins down First Beach, and freezing in her own action, she whirled around, only to see a little, bronze haired girl standing infront of her, an adorable smile on her face, looking up to her. Her name awoke her curiosity —- she had heard of Renesmee Cullen enough times to know who she was, but had never seen her, only being able to imagine her and her lively personality through Jacob’s stories, but actually hearing her voice speak as polite and clear as she had been told was something different.
“It’s lovely to meet you, Renesmee —- I’m Kim.”
❝ You must be Paul’s best friend! Jacob told me that he had a best friend named Kim, just like how I’m Jacob’s best friend! ❞
The child’s melodic laughter rang as she slapped her hands over her mouth. Her naivety was vibrant in her choice of words. It was clear that Renesmee did not know of the true meaning of imprinting, and she will cease to know until she comes of age. The decision was made for the best.
❝ The boys are down by waterline. Is that where you’re heading? ❞
